Grantlet legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Grantlet, including the public website, desktop app, local broker, MCP server, policy files, and related documentation. By using Grantlet, you agree to these terms.
What Grantlet does
Grantlet is a local credential broker for developer and coding-agent workflows. It helps route approved provider operations while reducing exposure of long-lived credentials to model context, shell arguments, logs, and ordinary tool output.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your devices, provider accounts, project policies, approvals, credentials, deployments, and local access controls.
- You must review policies and requested operations before approving them.
- You must comply with applicable laws, provider terms, security policies, and third-party rights.
- You must not use Grantlet to attack systems, bypass access controls, exfiltrate secrets, or perform unlawful activity.
Provider accounts and third-party services
Grantlet can interact with third-party providers such as Cloudflare, GitHub, AWS, GCP, and SSH hosts. Those services are controlled by their own terms, APIs, permissions, rate limits, and availability. You are responsible for the effects of provider operations that you configure or approve.
Credentials and approvals
Grantlet is designed to limit credential exposure, but it cannot guarantee that every project, policy, provider, shell command, log, user account, or third-party integration is safe. Treat approvals as security-sensitive actions and keep policies scoped to the minimum access required.
Intellectual property
The Grantlet website, branding, design, and documentation are owned by Pixl Studio or its licensors. Grantlet software is provided under the license terms included with the applicable source code, package, or distribution.
Feedback
If you send ideas, reports, or suggestions, you allow Pixl Studio to use them without restriction or obligation, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
No warranties
Grantlet is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixl Studio disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and security.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixl Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, credential misuse, provider account changes, deployment failures, business interruption, or security incidents arising from your use of Grantlet.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold Pixl Studio harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Grantlet, your policies or approvals, your provider accounts, or your violation of these terms.
Changes and termination
We may update Grantlet or these terms from time to time. We may suspend or discontinue access to hosted services or documentation at any time. The latest terms will be posted on this page with the updated date above.
